Do you know what this is?

Do you know what this is?

You can have a couple of guesses…oh, several junk rooms in my house?

Well no, but wait!  You already know that among other things, I’m a bookseller…so…several book rooms in my house?

Actually, no…it’s one room in my house…my office…yes, that's right, it's a view of just every angle I can take whilst balancing on piles of stuff…and there is even a shot of the closet…

Now, this room is 10 feet by 10 feet…hmmmm…no wonder it looks crowded…because frankly, it is. I can barely move around in it ... makes it incredibly hard to work… I know you know what I mean, right?

Oh, look here!  What's this?

Can you guess?  Oh, you're so smart!  That’s right! That‘s the new Texas Treasure Box studio!  On the road in front of my house... just about to drop right into this empty spot ...

right ….here!

Isn't it pretty! ~ Oh yeah, uh huh, uh huh! Got me some ROOOOOOM!
14 X 28 =  392 square feet of room!
292 MORE square feet of room than I currently have AND
I'm going to be able to get my guest room back!

Now here is the image that lured you in...

A vintage silver plated Oneida Champagne bucket!

(Photo taken in my Four Seasons bathroom as it is the only relatively uncluttered white room in my house)

I have emailed photos to Oneida as instructed by Customer Service and they will try to identify the year and pattern for me...
I'm guessing 1990's sometime...we'll see!

June 8, 2012 ~ Breaking News! Just heard back from Oneida with this:

"This is the COUNTESS holloware pattern.   The Countess collection was introduced to the market in 1982 and discounted in the late 90's."

  1. Good for you! So wonderful to have your own working space! I'm too embarrassed to post a photo of my 'studio' -- can't even get in there to find a pair of scissors or a fat quarter without breaking an ankle! Congratulations!

  2. Thanks so much! I am so looking forward to occupying it! We have to put flooring down and Noel got the AC/heater unit installed, and of course bookshelves, packing tables, shipping center set up, desk and printers, clothing racks... and it goes on! BTW, What is a fat quarter? Thanks for reading... you should come up one day!
